The Kruklanki facility is located in the Great Mazurian Lakes District, at the border of Puszcza Borecka in Kruklanki commune. It is adjacent to the Sapina River on one side and the Gołdapiwo lake, a no-power driven vessels zone, on the other. The hilly commune features 4 nature reserves, demonstrating the natural attractiveness of the area. Large broadleaved forests are mostly natural. Many animal species may be found in the thicket, including the pride of Puszcza Borecka – bison, whose population in the area is approximately 50 specimens. Direct access to the lake and forest, far from city tumult, guarantees peace and tranquillity coupled with active leisure outdoors. The 4.5 ha facility is fenced and guarded, and used only by participants of our Residential School Trips, giving them a sense of freedom and security. The location and landscape create perfect conditions for organising diversified educational programmes. Apart from natural and landscape abundance the area was the site of intense warfare during World War II, which left numerous fortifications and entrenchments comprising Giżycko Fortified Area.
The facility features:
• A watersports port (yachts, canoes, windsurfing, rowing boars, canoe)
• A guarded bathing beach,
• A fishing jetty,
• A football pitch,
• A volleyball pitch,
• An archery range,
• A playground for children,

• An arts studio,
• 2 large tents /60 m2/ for activities in bad weather,
