Camp Radków is located in the protection zone of the Góry Stołowe National Park, between its highest peak, Szczeliniec Wielki, and a frontier with the Czech Republic. As every year, this Camp, beautifully located on the bank of Zalew Radkowski lake, is waiting for artists, geologists, climbers, dancers, photographers, film makers, sportsmen and everyone else who wishes to spend their holidays here in an active and creative way.

Since 2005 Radków Camp has been owned by our company and is dedicated to our young guests exclusively. All of its newly modernised and extender infrastructure has been adjusted to the needs of children and young people. The 5 ha large area of the facility is fenced, monitored, guarded and closed for any unauthorised persons. There are two major buildings: “Castle” and “Stronghold”, and furthermore “Huts in a Circle” and cabins with the view of Zalew Radkowski lake. Moreover, the facility has a canteen, a mini-shop, a drying room, a doctor’s room and the “GeoFoto” building where some of the activities take place.

The Radków cuisine has fascinated many camp participants or instructors. The three meals organised in the form of a buffet offer a full range of versatile, colourful and healthy dishes, including the meals pre-agreed with parents and compliant with individual dietary requirements. Moreover, once a week a “Radków table” is available. It is an opportunity to taste foods prepared independently in the facility: freshly baked bread with grains, hot rolls, aromatic meats and pates, lard with cracklings and pickled cucumbers. Additional treat is fruit marmalade produced by us and served daily in the buffet, which is very popular with children.

Apart from the dessert served with lunch (we try to offer fruit), we also offer an “open snack cabinet” in the evening, because we know how many calories a young person spending an entire day on fresh air may burn. During the day, unlimited hot tea or water, depending on weather, is available in several spots on the Camp area.

Camp programme offer at Camp Radków
In terms of organisation, the camp is divided into two large parts depending on the age of the children – Camp Radków Junior (1st to 5th grade of primary school), Radków Camp Youth (6th grade of primary school – 3rd grade of high school).

Thematic activities: at Camp Radków theme camps are offered in a parallel manner in both age groups. The leading activities determine the nature of every camp.

Supplementary activities: every theme camp offers additional supplementary activities. Given the broad range of sport and recreational equipment, every day is filled with intensive activities from morning till evening.

General camp activities: usually take place in the evening. This time of the day is spent by all camp participants together, in division into age groups: Camp Radków Junior and Camp Radków Youth separately. The evening activities given an opportunity to meet with friends from other camps.

These include, for example: field and role-playing games, Radków Olympic Games, bonfires, discos, swimming marathon, feast. In the middle of each term a day-long field game is organized for volunteers.

The camp ends with shows presenting participant’s achievements, exhibitions and first viewings of camp participant’s works:
• A film festival
• An exhibition of photography and specimens collected by young geologists
• A dance show and theatre performances
• A visual arts vernissage
• Matches and team games

Badge-awarding activities are organised for all willing participants of both junior and youth groups. Those who have proven their persistence, have made progress and passed the final test, receive brown, silver or gold badges confirming their skills.
The badge programme serves as an additional motivator for camp participants to actively and enthusiastically develop the scope of their knowledge and skills.

We decided to limit mobile phone use by kids and youths on the area of Camp Radków. The participants will be allowed to use the mobile phones each Wednesday and Saturday during the dinner break. Outside that period the phones will be deposited in the Camp’s safe.

The price of each camp within Camp Radków is comprehensive and includes:
• Full programme including all thematic, supplementary and badge-awarding activities as well as general camp events
• Gear and equipment necessary for activities
• Accommodation in a holiday and training centre in rooms in a buildings or cabins with full sanitary facilities (depending on a camp)
• Coach transport from Piaseczno to Radków and from Radków to Piaseczno
• Full board (three buffet meals per day, afternoon snack, “open snack cabinet”, unlimited tea or water available in several spots all day long and packed lunch for the return trip)
• 24-hour care of instructors and tutors
• Medical care
• Accident insurance

ATTENTION, term 5:
When defining the camp programme for this short, 8-day term, we decided to focus on intensive thematic activities, which form the core of each camp, at the expense of supplementary activities.

Supplementary activities: sit-on-top canoes, climbing walls, activities on a bathing beach, a trekking trip in Stołowe Mountains or a bike trip, traditional team games and world games. Due to little time to prepare films and vernissage at film and photo camps, the participants together with the staff will decide which supplementary and general camp activities they will participate in.

General camp activities during the term, depending on the age group: the Wheel of Fortune, Disco, Feast, Bonfire, an RPG Game and activities of choice.

Badge-awarding activities during term 5 are limited to internal camp badges, i.e.: archery (Archery and All Sport camp), climbing (All Sport camp) and football (Football camp).

Check our photo diaries from the Camp published on our website on a current basis!

Meetings for parents will be held in Warsaw approximately one month before the start of holiday. The date of the meeting will be announced at in May.

Due to rapidly falling dusk we change the time from term 4 - the watches will be set one hour ahead.

NOTE: We recommend concluding resignation insurance with any carrier.
